Experienced in local and regional policy-making and energy regulation, Jaime served as a legislative revenue economist at the Oregon state legislature. She served as the utility analyst for the Oregon Public Utility Commission, and met her passion for engagement and learning as a professor of economics and statistics. Jamie has built a career serving the public with a passion for equity, education, and informed decision-making.

Now with TURN, Jaime represents consumers in gas and electricity rate cases, climate policy, and transmission and exchange markets in the West.

Her heart is in the work: “For years, I have known that the people at TURN are making a positive difference. They are giving a voice to so many people who need it. And they are doing it with such a high level of professionalism and skill in a very complex arena.  I am really just so happy to be a part of this team.”

Jaime holds a PhD and Masters in Economics and a B.A. in Math and Economics from Arizona State University, and is published in the Journal of Mathematical Economics for her work bridging computational and theoretical solutions in economics.
