Sylvie Ashford joined TURN in September 2023 as an Energy and Climate Policy Analyst. Dedicated to ensuring all Californians have access to affordable, clean energy, she focuses on issues related to utility ratemaking, renewable resources, and affordability programs.

Prior to TURN, Sylvie worked at the Natural Resources Defense Council. As a sustainable energy fellow, she provided data analysis and advocated in regulatory proceedings for equitable policies to decarbonize California's buildings and power sectors.

Sylvie holds an M.A. and B.A. with Honors from Stanford University, where she conducted policy research and developed a strong passion for activism and public service.
