Cassandra Houston has over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources, Training and Workforce Development, HR strategy implementation, and Employment Law. She has facilitated training classes regarding Diversity and Leadership and was an MBA Instructor for University of Phoenix. As TURN’s Director of Human Resources, Cassandra will partner with the Executive Leadership Team to design and implement HR Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion processes, efforts, programs, and systems to recruit, onboard, develop, and retain diverse highly qualified team members.
Prior to TURN, Cassandra previously worked for Covenant Living Communities as the Director of Human Resources in Turlock, CA, where she was responsible for a variety of HR strategies and implementations.
She has an MBA from NYIT and a BBA from Faulkner University. She has served on such boards as Skills USA-Alabama and has served as a committee member of Manufacture Alabama. She is currently one of the founding members of Modesto Professional Women for Good, a network of professional women in Modesto who want to make a bigger impact together.
She is a strong advocate for effective leadership, and her motto is, “In order to see the best in people, you must be the best for the people.”
